PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

CP-250  is a siloxane based water repellent in a mineral spirit carrier formulated to protect a variety of building materials against the damaging effects of water, choride and other waterborne contaminants. It is not a surface coating. CP-250 penetrates up to 1/4 inch or more into treated surfaces and bonds with the substrate to provide long lasting, hydrophobic protection, even at hairline cracks.

The "low" solids content of CP-250 is possible because it does not depend on the deposition of solids to achieve a water repellent effect. Some types of water repellents rely on high solids content and inert materials to fill pores and form water resistant films. CP-250 Siloxane Water Repellent consists of 100% active ingredients that physically and chemically react with the substrate. This forms a photo-reactive surface which becomes water repellent after just 4 to 24 hours of exposure to ultra-violet light (direct or indirect sunlight) and continues to increase in effectiveness through several weeks of exposure.

USAGE

New or restored surfaces such as: brick, concrete, dry precast, adobe, natural stone, ceramic tile, stuccos, and mortars. Siloxane Water Repellent can be applied to partially contaminated and pre-water repelled surfaces.  For horizontal & vertical surfaces.
